No Sew Burlap Pillow Cover.....

We are going to be redoing our living room....it started to go too modern for our tastes so it will be heading back to a more country cottage feel. 

This new pillow was created by taking an existing throw pillow and stuffing it in a burlap rice bag, cute right??  I decided to keep the handle on just for fun although hubby will probably want me to cut that part off.

What do you think?

Mini Quilt Blocks w/ Antique Door Hinges....

So, I have had these ornate antique door hinges for years knowing that someday I would use them in a craft project.....and finally I figured it out.  What do you think of these mini quilt blocks?  I used woven plaids and hand pieced & hand quilted each one.  They are approx 3 x 3.

They may end up on Etsy or they may stay in my house.  Not sure yet.

Each time I click on the pic link it opens up but the box for BROWSE closes instantly so I can't upload a pic.......anyone else having trouble?

I finished the top for my nephews quilt....it was supposed to be 8 x 8 ten inch squares - well I decided that was way too much so it ended up at 5 x 5 ten inch squares and really cute!

Will post a pic as soon as I can.
