It is Oct 29 in Ct and we are expecting 12 inches of snow between today and tomorrow. Unheard of!! It means not Sunday worship and I hate when we have to miss a meeting!
I am almost finished with my first drunkards path candle mat. Just have to hand sew the binding on the back. Its really nice! Will be a Christmas present for someone....not sure who yet.
Oct 4th, maybe 1988 or 89, the day after my Aunt's wedding, there was a horrible snow storm and it left many people without power for 3 days. ^__^
ReplyDeleteBut it is very unusual!!! My grandmother says winters were much longer and with much more accumulation when she was young then they've been these past 30 years or so... maybe it's time for heavy winters again?

ReplyDeleteI think that she remembers more snow because she was shorter and the snow seemed higher..... :)
